We have continued our working relationship with Mr. Bruce Newell, Senior Technical Officer, Aquatic Aviary and Wildlife, Deakin University, Waurn Ponds who was in urgent need of 6 bird transport boxes for his field officers going to Central Australia. Our boys in the woodwork area came to the rescue at short notice and were able to make the deadline for them. Our coordinators Andrew Slejko and Brian Burch worked with other members to complete the units seen in the above photo. Bruce was more than pleased with the units and we will now work on making further bird boxes for them in the near future.
